Kubota Launches $500,000 Grant Program for Community Projects

The Kubota Tractor Corporation is gearing up to bolster community development across the United States with the launch of its 2025 Hometown Proud® Grant Program. This initiative, now accepting applications, is designed to empower nonprofit organizations by providing essential resources for community projects that can leverage Kubota equipment. The program will award ten grants nationwide, each valued at $50,000, comprising $25,000 in funding and a $25,000 equipment voucher, tailored to each of Kubota’s ten operating districts.

Since its inception five years ago, the Hometown Proud® Grant Program has made a significant impact, disbursing $2 million in grants to support a diverse array of local initiatives. These projects have ranged from revitalizing parks and public green spaces to establishing community gardens, youth sports fields, and agricultural programs. The program has also supported local infrastructure and renovation projects, demonstrating Kubota’s commitment to community enhancement and sustainability.

Eligibility for the 2025 program is open to registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations with projects located within 50 miles of a Kubota dealer. Applicants must clearly outline how Kubota equipment will be integral to the success of their projects. Previous recipients are not eligible to reapply, but organizations that have applied in the past are welcome to submit new proposals. This inclusive approach ensures that a wide range of community-driven projects have the opportunity to benefit from Kubota’s support.

The application process is straightforward and designed to be accessible. Interested organizations must visit KubotaHometownProud.com and complete an online form detailing their organization’s mission, project specifics, and the role of Kubota equipment in achieving their goals. Additionally, applicants are required to upload a short video supporting their application. This multimedia element allows organizations to showcase their projects more dynamically, providing a compelling narrative for evaluators.

Applications are due by May 9, 2025. Following the deadline, Kubota will meticulously evaluate all submissions and select ten recipients, ensuring that each of the company’s ten operating districts is represented. This structured approach guarantees that communities across the nation have the opportunity to receive much-needed support for their projects.

In addition to the grant program, Kubota is launching a public sweepstakes on May 10, offering individuals the chance to win either a Kubota zero-turn mower or a BX series tractor. This consumer engagement initiative not only adds excitement but also reinforces Kubota’s commitment to community involvement and customer appreciation. Full details and rules for the sweepstakes are available at kubotausa.com/hometown-proud/rules.

This initiative underscores Kubota’s dedication to fostering sustainable community development. By providing both financial support and essential equipment, Kubota is empowering nonprofit organizations to undertake projects that have a tangible, positive impact on local communities. This program not only supports immediate project needs but also encourages long-term community engagement and sustainability. As the construction industry continues to evolve, initiatives like the Hometown Proud® Grant Program serve as a model for how corporations can play a pivotal role in shaping a more sustainable and resilient future.
